Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alexander White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesus Price (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). White comes into the arena with N/A blaring out of the sound system. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alexander White!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jesus Price!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Price shoots in looking for a takedown. White tries to sprawl out of it but Price keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. White manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
White defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Price.
Price circles away from the clinch attempt.
White displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Price.
Alexander White has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jesus Price.
No joy there for White, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Price shoots for a takedown but White saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
White looks to land a combination but Price avoids it well.
White tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Price manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
White tries to land a front kick but Price steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

White creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Price is just content to waste time from the top position. White takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Price is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
White is looking to stand up but Price isn't so interested in that idea.

White escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Price gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Price gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
White tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Price manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Price shoots in for a double leg but White sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Price misses with a takedown attempt - White sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. White connects with a nice short shot to Price's temple.
White wants to get back to his feet.
Price is looking to improve his position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

White gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
White misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Price.

White shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than White was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Price can't escape the position.

White stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Price takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

White dives in and scores a takedown into Price's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Price tries to stand but White is controlling from the bottom.

White has a closed guard, preventing Price from standing up.
Price wants to pass the guard but White is keeping the position.

White has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Price regains guard immediately.

White stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and White wants it to stay on the feet.

Price looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? White is fending him off so far but Price persists. Nope, White circles away and we're back to standing.

White rushes Price and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

It looks like White is going to stand back up.

White is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

White misses with a series of wild punches.
White stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and White wants it to stay on the feet.
This has been an exciting period of action!

White gets in close and instigates a clinch.
White is pushing Price up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

White breaks from the clinch.

Well White has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
