Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tito Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Gahan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Coleman comes to the cage accompanied by Eminem - Mosh. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 16 - 0, fighting out of London, Tito Coleman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Dave Gahan!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Andrew Berry and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gahan has closed the distance and engaged Coleman in a clinch.
Gahan misses with a punch to the body.
Gahan lands with a short head shot on the inside.
A right handed body shot lands from Coleman.
Gahan takes an elbow to the forehead.
Gahan throws a head punch that misses.

Coleman has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Gahan is trying to keep an underhook but Coleman manages to get the takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Gahan tries to kick Coleman off but Coleman keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Coleman throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Coleman is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Gahan is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Coleman's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Coleman's back!

Gahan is throwing strikes by Coleman counters by rolling into a better position. After a scramble, Coleman regains half guard.
Gahan throws a strike but Coleman avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Gahan prevents Coleman from getting back to his feet.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gahan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gahan is looking to work some ground and pound but Coleman has wrist control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gahan is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Gahan looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dave Gahan dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Gahan closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Gahan has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Coleman won't allow Gahan to pass to mount.
Gahan with the ground and pound but Coleman uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Gahan is looking to advance position but Coleman has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Gahan tries to hold on but Coleman postures up.
Gahan gets back to half guard.

Gahan manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Gahan pushes Coleman up against the cage in a clinch.
Coleman throws a punch but it's blocked by Gahan.
Gahan misses with a punch to the body.
Coleman digs a right hand underneath Gahan's ribcage. Gahan let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Coleman misses with the head strike.
Gahan tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Coleman's elbow.
Gahan lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Gahan avoiding damage as Coleman throws knees to the body.
Coleman keeps control of Gahan as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Gahan throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Colemans head.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Coleman working Gahan over with knees to the body.
Nice body punch from Gahan - that landed with a thud.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Coleman's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Gahan has a couple of punches blocked by Coleman.
Gahan goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Gahan misses with the head strike.

Coleman jumps guard.
Gahan trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Coleman not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Gahan in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Coleman avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Gahan postures up in Coleman's guard and throws a big left but Coleman blocks it.

Gahan advances to half guard.
Gahan is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Coleman!
Coleman is desperately trying to improve his position but Gahan has a good base and remains in mount.
Gahan thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Gahan lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Gahan with the ground and pound from mount.
Gahan unloads with some shots from mount but Coleman bucks and avoids them well.
Gahan is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Coleman can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gahan pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.


Coleman is rocked!
Gahan loads up with a big shot that hurts Coleman! He's pulled Gahan in close but Gahan has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Coleman survive? More strikes from Gahan and Coleman is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Dave Gahan!
