The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kjovisk avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Araujo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kjovisk paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Araujo shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Araujo is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Kjovisk knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Araujo on the ground.

Araujo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Araujo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Kjovisk is working to avoid the ground and pound but Araujo connects with a decent elbow.

Kjovisk seems a little lost for a moment, as Araujo dominates the positioning.

Araujo has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Kjovisk is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Araujo yanks on the arm and Kjovisk is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Araujo.
