Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dwayne Carter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lex Luger!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Dillan Fox and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luger swings for the body but Carter moves out of range.

Carter closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
A bit of stalling here from Carter.

Carter lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Carter prevents Luger from standing back up.

Carter is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Luger sees it coming and defends easily.
Carter controlling the pace.
Luger wants to improve his position but Carter is controlling well.
Luger is looking to escape.
Luger is trying to escape back to his feet but Carter uses the scramble to pass into side control.

Carter thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Luger tries to control but Carter manages to take his back.
Luger is trying to break free.
Luger trying to get back to his feet but Carter is in full control for now.
Carter controls the position.

Carter will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Luger can't escape the position.
Luger should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Carter is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.

Carter has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Luger has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Carter is looking for the choke from the back position but Luger is controlling his hands well.

Carter gets his hands free as Luger looks to control.

Luger looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands.
Luger prevents Carter from getting a body triangle.
Carter cracks Luger with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Luger from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.

Carter is looking to control Luger but Luger is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Carter is punishing Luger with strikes - can he finish him?!
Luger tries to escape the position.
Luger is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
Carter is hanging on to Luger's back as he tries to escape.
Carter trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Luger doesn't escape.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Carter shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Luger defends it nicely.
Luger looks to land a combination but Carter avoids it well.
Carter uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Luger.
Luger tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Carter was well out of range. Poor timing from Luger.

Luger swings for the body but Carter moves out of range.
Luger throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Carter stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Carter uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Luger.
Luger cracks Carter with a right hand to the side of the head.
Carter misses with a takedown
and Carter takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Luger stuns Carter with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
A looping hook to the body misses from Luger. Carter does a little dance to reset his feet.
Luger scores with a shot to the body.
Dwayne Carter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Luger looks to score with a jab to the body but Carter is just out of range.
Luger is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Carter rather than just go for the knockout.
Luger fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Carter manages to avoid it.
Luger just misses with a punch to the body.
Dwayne Carter is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Luger's jab looks to have found its range, popping Carter under the eye.
Luger lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Carter fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Carter changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Luger looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Luger is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Carter working the strikes but Luger uses the opportunity to regain half guard.

Luger is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Luger can do anything to dispel that myth.

Carter is keen to just control but Luger is a slippery customer.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Luger tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Carter was well out of range. Poor timing from Luger.

and Luger counters with a right hand to the body.
Luger lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Luger dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Luger throws a good cross that connects.
Carter takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Luger darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Luger misses with a wild combination.
Luger lands a body shot.
Luger is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Carter.
Luger sizes up Carter with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Carter has his takedown stuffed
and Luger counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Luger scores with a one two! Carter had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Luger lands a nice looking body shot.
Carter looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lex Luger showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


Luger throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.


Carter is rocked!
Luger scores with a jab to the body.
Luger gets in close and tags Carter with a short punch that almost sends Carter to the mat! Oh Carter is in big trouble! He turns his back on Luger, trying to create some distance but Luger rushes him, striking wildly and Carter goes down! The referee tackles Luger into the cage to end the fight! Luger is one violent man!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:12 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lex Luger!
