Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lal Dama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don Severn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Don Severn!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Ian Loll and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Severn misses with a straight left.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dama is defended easily by Severn.
The fighters circling - Severn throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Severn misses with a looping left.
Severn should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Severn slaps away a takedown attempt from Dama, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Dama doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Severn counters with an inside leg kick.

Dama working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Severn doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Severn manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Dama shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Severn sprawls well. Severn wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dama gets slowly back to his feet.
