Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chay Willis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ladislav Hemsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Willis comes to the cage accompanied by As I Lay Dying - Through Struggle. Hemsky has chosen Onward to Victory as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Willis punishes Hemsky's body with a nice straight punch.
Hemsky digs a good hook to Willis's body.
Hemsky takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Willis fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hemsky looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Hemsky is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Willis.
Willis is looking to wear down Hemsky with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Willis connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Hemsky's hands.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Willis postures up in Hemsky's guard and throws a big left but Hemsky blocks it.
Willis throws a strike but Hemsky rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Willis escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hemsky gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Hemsky avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Hemsky won't allow Willis to sweep him here.

Hemsky really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Willis. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Willis uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hemsky.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close round but I would say that Chay Willis will probably get the nod.

Hemsky fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Willis has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Willis shoots in looking for a takedown. Hemsky tries to sprawl out of it but Willis keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hemsky manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Ladislav Hemsky seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Hemsky motions for Willis to come forward. Hemsky throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
