Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chris Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicholas Ghirardi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nicholas Ghirardi will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Li moves into the clinch.

Li manages to pull guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Ghirardi not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Li is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Li had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Ghirardi defends it easily.
Ghirardi scoring with some ground and pound.

Li throws his legs up looking for a submission but Ghirardi uses it to pass to side control.
Ghirardi just content to control the position.
Li tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Ghirardi presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Li really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Li wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.

Li is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Ghirardi is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
Ghirardi looking to soften up his opponent with punches.
Ghirardi slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ghirardi is hanging on to Li's back as he tries to escape.
Li is working hard here to advance position.
Ghirardi has good solid back control here.
Li wants to control his opponent's hands but Ghirardi gets his hands free.
Li is breathing heavily.
Ghirardi controlling the position well here. Li rolled but Ghirardi kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Ghirardi lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Ghirardi.

Ghirardi has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Li is defending well but eventually Ghirardi manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Li has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
