Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harry Cross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Matador (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Harry Cross has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Harry Cross seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jack Matador!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, John Mangel and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matador uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Cross.
A jab lands there for Matador.
Matador takes one on the button.
Matador tries to land a leg kick but Cross saw it coming and moves away.
Cross throws the left hand but Matador avoids the punch easily.
Cross slips under a jab from Matador.
Good shot there by Matador.
Cross looks to land a left hand but Matador moved out of range nicely.
Cross uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Matador.
Cross throws a big shot that misses.
Cross throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Cross drops Matador with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Matador looks back up at him and smiles so Cross waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Matador is rocked!
It looks like Jack Matador has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A slow jab from Cross misses its intended target.
Matador closes this distance looking for a takedown but Cross circles away.
Matador shoots for a takedown but Cross saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Matador throws a solid leg kick but Cross takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Matador.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cross dances in with a quick combination. Matador is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Cross snaps Matador's head back. Matador stumbles backwards against the cage. Cross steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Matador's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Matador just didn't come prepared.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Harry Cross!
