PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sameer Hamadoui (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yin Hong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hamadoui kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Lights Out. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Yin Hong!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Chris Saunders and Ryoma Takatsuka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hong fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Hamadoui to the ground. Hong is now in Hamadoui's guard.
Hong stops Hamadoui from standing up.

Hamadoui stands and steps away. Hong gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Hamadoui shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Hong eats them both and turns towards Hamadoui to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Hamadoui shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Hamadoui was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Hamadoui has hold of Hong's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Hong manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
