Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Buggy Clown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mako Yoshida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buggy Clown could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Mako Yoshida's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mako Yoshida!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Ren Mimura and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yoshida throws a series of punches but Clown moves out of range.
Clown looks to score with a jab to the body but Yoshida is just out of range.
Yoshida is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Clown.
A jab from Clown finds it's way through Yoshida's defenses.

It looks like Mako Yoshida has been cut.
Clown misses with a looping left.
Clown slow jab from Yoshida misses its intended target.
Clown misses with an uppercut

and Yoshida counters with a head kick that drops Clown!

Clown is rocked!
Clown is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Yoshida is controlling him.

Clown has his foot on Yoshida's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Yoshida works his way back into a safe position though.
Yoshida won't allow Clown to get back to his feet.
Yoshida has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Clown is proving hard to escape from.

Clown working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Yoshida doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Yoshida manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Clown looking to control but Yoshida passes into half guard.
Clown tries to kick Yoshida off in order to stand up. Yoshida Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Yoshida stands up.
Yoshida pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Yoshida misses with a low kick as Clown jumps back.
Yoshida lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Clown jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Clown throws an overhand right that lands on Yoshida's shoulder, as Yoshida tries to avoid the shot.
Clown thows a left - swing and a miss!
Yoshida moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Clown is breathing heavily.
Yoshida stuffs the takedown attempt from Clown. Clown gets slowly back to his feet.
Mako Yoshida is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Yoshida scores with a leg kick.
Clown takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Clown will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Yoshida fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Clown checks it well.
Clown throws a right hand that misses
and Yoshida makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Clown thuds a left hand into Yoshida's body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Clown bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Yoshida! He dives into his guard looking to finish!

Yoshida is rocked!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Yoshida can do anything to dispel that myth.

Clown gets to his feet. Yoshida looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Yoshida is still on wobbly legs! Can Clown finish him?
Buggy Clown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Yoshida circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Clown. Yoshida falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Clown!
