Emelianenko comes to the cage accompanied by The Republic Tigers. Miletich has chosen Face fucked by PISSING RAZORS as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miletich lands with a nice body punch.
Emelianenko throws a leg kick but Miletich checks it.
Miletich throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Emelianenko has Miletich up against the cage in a clinch.

Miletich is trying to break the clinch but Emelianenko is controlling him.

Emelianenko jumps guard and drags Miletich to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Alistair Emelianenko.
Miletich cracks Emelianenko with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Bas Miletich seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Miletich changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Emelianenko lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Miletich keeps the fight on the outside.
Miletich throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Miletich scores with the left hand. Emelianenko knows he should have avoided that one.

Emelianenko lands a big head kick that sends Miletich tumbling to the mat! Emelianenko takes a step backwards and waves Miletich back to his feet - he wants the finish!


It looks like Bas Miletich has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Emelianenko lands a nice leg kick that just misses Miletich's sensitive parts.
Miletich looks gassed!
Miletich lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Miletich misses with a wild combination.

Emelianenko doesn't manage to clinch there - Miletich circles away.
Miletich changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Emelianenko rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Miletich moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Miletich connects with the punch.

Emelianenko feints and as Miletich raises his hands in defense, Emelianenko changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Emelianenko will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Emelianenko fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Miletich sprawls well initially but Emelianenko persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Emelianenko is looking to take a break and control but Miletich is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Emelianenko throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Emelianenko wants to stand but Miletich has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Miletich holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Emelianenko wants to take a breather but Miletich is having none of it.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Alistair Emelianenko wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Miletich pushes a forearm under Emelianenko's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Emelianenko is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
