Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Madog Killer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Mosby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Madog Killer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Mosby! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Killer moves into the clinch. Killer on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Killer jumps into guard, dragging Mosby to the mat.
Mosby stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Killer swivels though and keeps the full guard. Killer has his hands on Mosby's head, controlling the position. Mosby in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Killer has control of Mosby's left arm, preventing Mosby from doing any damage. Mosby trying to control the position from guard on top but Killer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Killer shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mosby but Mosby pushes him off and we're back to square one. Mosby leaves Killer with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Killer fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Mosby to the ground. Killer is now in Mosby's guard. Killer trying to control but Mosby is working from the bottom. Mosby striking off his back but it's not causing Killer any problems. Killer trying to control but Mosby is working from the bottom. Mosby keeping full guard, as Killer tries to pass. Mosby working a defensive guard here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Mosby controls Killer momentarily but Killer frees himself. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Jack Mosby hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Killer shoots and misses and Mosby counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Madog Killer. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Killer is looking to improve his position.
Killer is breathing heavily. Mosby wants to take a breather but Killer is having none of it. Killer keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Killer wants to get back to full guard. Mosby sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Killer defending well though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Killer trying to hold on to Mosby's head to control him but Mosby postures up.
Mosby wants to lay and pray for a moment but Killer keeps working. Mosby is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Mosby slows the pace down in half guard. Killer is looking for a sweep. Mosby is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mosby is trying to control. Killer wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Killer trying to hold on to Mosby's head to control him but Mosby postures up.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Mosby closes the distance and clinches up with Killer, looking for a takedown. Mosby pushes Killer against the cage but Killer circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Mosby throws a series of punches but Killer avoids them all with ease. Killer moves into the clinch successfully.
Killer breaks from the clinch.
Mosby shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Killer pinned against the cage. Killer gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Killer is trying hard to land a takedown here. Mosby sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Killer misses with a takedown and Mosby counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Killer! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jack Mosby will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Mosby tries to close the distance and clinch up but Killer swats him away and circles back towards the center. Killer shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Mosby napping and manages to drive through into side control! Killer trying to control the action but Mosby is working from the bottom. Jack Mosby has got the better of the ground game so far. Killer thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Killer tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Killer tries for a kimura but Mosby is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mosby wants to control but Killer postures up. Mosby tries to improve position but can't. Mosby is not content to let Killer control the position. Mosby manages to get back to half guard. Mosby is positioning himself well to prevent Killer advancing to mount. Mosby is not content to let Killer control the position. Mosby won't allow Killer to pass to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mosby looking for submissions off his back. Mosby is breathing heavily. Killer trying to control the pace. Mosby tries to roll over but Killer keeps him under control. Mosby is staying active underneath Killer, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Madog Killer wasn't doing enough on the ground. Mosby rushes Killer and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Killer pulls Mosby into guard.

Mosby is looking to control Killer's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Mosby avoid being mounted? Killer is trying to control the action in half guard but Mosby is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Killer seems to be working for a kimura but Mosby defends the submission attempt. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mosby makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Mosby. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Killer pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mosby is keeping the position for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mosby tries to hold on but Killer pushes him away. Killer prevents Mosby from getting the reversal. Mosby is squirming around, avoiding Killer's attempts to control the action. Killer working for a submission but Mosby is keeping him at bay. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Killer looking to control but Mosby is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Killer won't let Mosby get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Killer has control of Mosby's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Mosby regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Killer has hold of Mosby's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Mosby manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mosby bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Mosby would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Killer is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Mosby defends well. Mosby stands up from Killer's guard - Mosby perhaps looking for a knockout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mosby tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Killer tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mosby sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Killer somewhat. Mosby shoots for a double leg takedown but Killer sprawls well. He's pushed Mosby's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Killer gets a takedown into half guard. Killer is pressing down on Mosby's thigh, looking to free his foot. Mosby is holding on for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Killer wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mosby keeps working. Mosby regains full guard. Nicely done. Killer passes easily into side control. Nice work. Killer thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Killer controls the position from side control.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Madog Killer. Well Killer has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win...
