The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kran keeps the fight on the outside.
Power closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Power is trying to get an arm triangle but Kran is defending well.

Power landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Power controls the position from side control.
Power tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Kran is trying to control Power's posture but Power avoids it.

Power moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Kran is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Power off and has taken his back!

Kran is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Power is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Kran.
Power looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Power wants to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kran is persistently looking for the submission but Power is defending it well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Power tries to escape but Kran has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Power really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kran. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kran is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Power has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Kran has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Power! Can he survive? No! He's out! Kran gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
