The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zarencev looking to score a takedown here. Hellscream is defending well but Zarencev drives through and ends up in Hellscream's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Zarencev is working Hellscream over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Zarencev gets to his feet - Hellscream follows without any prompting.
Hellscream tries to clinch

and Zarencev counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Zarencev loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Zarencev cracks Hellscream with a solid left hand.

Zarencev stands and steps away. Hellscream gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Zarencev rushes Hellscream and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Zarencev breaks the clinch.

Zarencev shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Hellscream is trying to defend but Zarencev finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Zarencev escapes and gets back to his feet.
Zarencev doesn't succeed with the takedown

so Hellscream counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Hellscream is sitting in close to Zarencev's body. Zarencev has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Hellscream is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Hellscream is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Zarencev.
