Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tirawit Kokin!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Sean Quinn!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Richard Clark and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kokin scores with a kick to the midsection.
Kokin lands a head kick. Quinn smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Quinn misses with a straight right.
Quinn looks to land a left hand but Kokin moved out of range nicely.
Quinn misses with a right hand
and Kokin counters with a head kick.
Quinn fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kokin manages to avoid it.
Kokin keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Quinn.
Kokin fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Quinn has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Kokin looks for the body kick but Quinn saw that one coming.
Kokin uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Quinn.
Quinn punishes Kokin's body with a nice straight punch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Quinn takes a swing at Kokin's ribcage but misses.
Kokin takes one to the side of the head.


It looks like Tirawit Kokin has been cut.
Quinn catches Kokin with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Quinn scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Quinn fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kokin manages to avoid it.
A head kick misses from Kokin.
Quinn swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kokin steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Quinn.
Quinn tries to land a front kick but Kokin steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Quinn throws a poor cross that misses
and Kokin counters with a head kick. That will keep Quinn thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Quinn throws a right and a left that both miss.
Kokin throws a head kick that Quinn semi-blocks.
Quinn throws a hook to the side of Kokin's head but Kokin sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Quinn just misses with a punch to the body.
Sean Quinn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kokin slips a jab and a cross from Quinn.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kokin moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
A telegraphed right hand from Quinn misses the target.
Quinn lunges at Kokin with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Kokin's hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Quinn throws an overhand right that lands on Kokin's shoulder, as Kokin tries to avoid the shot.
Quinn throws a leg kick that misses.
Quinn throws a right hand that misses
letting Kokin counter with a right hand.
Quinn wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Quinn cracks Kokin with an open hand slap.


Kokin is rocked!
Quinn throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Oh Kokin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kokin is breathing heavily.
Quinn cracks Kokin with a left hook right on the temple and Kokin goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Quinn lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Kokin is OK!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sean Quinn! Sean Quinn retains his welterweight title!
A very excited looking Sean Quinn made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
