The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bo's jab looks to have found its range, popping Adams under the eye.
Adams avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Adams fails to land the takedown.
Adams takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Adams walks into a left hand.
Adams tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Adams somewhat.
Bo scores with a jab to the head.

Bo misses with a few strikes there.
Adams tries to clinch up but Bo circles away and keeps his distance.

Bo gets a takedown into half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Bo thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Adams's head.

Bo is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Adams sees it coming and defends easily.
Bo working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Adams wants to improve his position but Bo is controlling well.
Adams is staying active underneath Bo, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Adams avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Bo.

Bo is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Adams is just riding it out for now. Bo eventually gives up the hold.
