The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
WarHorse tries for a takedown but Franklin sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

WarHorse closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
WarHorse looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

WarHorse manages to pull guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Franklin wants to control from the top but WarHorse keeps moving.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
WarHorse preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
WarHorse looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Franklin distracts WarHorse with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
WarHorse not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Franklin gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Franklin shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has WarHorse pinned against the ropes. WarHorse gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Franklin checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Franklin closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Franklin lands in his opponent's guard.
Franklin tries to free his leg and advance position but WarHorse is retaining full guard.
Franklin advances to half guard.
WarHorse knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Franklin on the ground.
Franklin is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Franklin is trying for a kimura here. WarHorse looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Franklin wins by kimura!
