The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romanov moves away from the strike by Paris.
Paris shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Paris takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
It looks like Nicolai Romanov has been cut.

Paris tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Paris has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Romanov tries to improve position but can't.
Paris misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Paris tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Paris throws a strike aimed at the side of Romanov's head but Romanov avoids it well.
