Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nick Vasa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dele Obasi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vasa's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Highway to Hell(AC/DC). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dele Obasi!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, John Mangel and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vasa dives in and scores a takedown into Obasi's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Obasi working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Vasa has passed into half guard!
Obasi is refusing to be controlled, as Vasa sits in half guard.
Obasi gets back to full guard.
Vasa wants to pass the guard but Obasi is keeping the position.
Vasa in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Vasa connects with a couple of short punches.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Obasi can't keep his opponent in guard - Vasa advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Vasa seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Vasa is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Obasi doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Vasa.
Obasi is trying to stand back up but Vasa is controlling him
Vasa throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Vasa lands with a punch from half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Vasa connects with a nice short shot to Obasi's temple.
Vasa winds up and cracks Obasi with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Obasi looks gassed!

Vasa throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Vasa slips a nice elbow through Obasi's hands, connecting with Obasi's forehead.
Vasa wants to lay and pray for a moment but Obasi keeps working.
Obasi on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Vasa passes to side control.
Vasa scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Obasi is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Vasa can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
