Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Harry Bugz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Duncan Pinderhughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Harry Bugz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Duncan Pinderhughes! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Emerson Jorge and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bugz shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pinderhughes pinned against the cage. Pinderhughes gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Nice shot lands for Pinderhughes. Pinderhughes lands a right hook to the body.
Bugz shoots in for a double leg but Pinderhughes sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Bugz looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. A decent looking cross lands there for Bugz. Bugz shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Bugz trying to control the position from guard on top but Pinderhughes is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bugz throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Pinderhughes works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bugz throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Bugz got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pinderhughes has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bugz has managed to get both his arms back between Pinderhughes's legs - danger averted.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pinderhughes looking for a sweep. Not yet Pinderhughes, not yet. Pinderhughes is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Pinderhughes lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Bugz! Pinderhughes thowing shots but they're missing. Pinderhughes pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
Bugz is desperately trying to improve his position but Pinderhughes has a good base and remains in mount. Pinderhughes goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Bugz turns into him and now he's in Pinderhughes's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bugz missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Bugz stands up over Pinderhughes, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Bugz lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Bugz tries to free his leg and advance position but Pinderhughes is retaining full guard. Bugz trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bugz pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Pinderhughes is keeping the position for now. Bugz preventing the sweep. Bugz postures up.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Pinderhughes avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Bugz might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Bugz throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Pinderhughes has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Bugz has passed into side control.
Bugz lands a few punches from side control. Pinderhughes is trying to get back to his feet. Bugz connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Pinderhughes some visible discomfort.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bugz is putting a hurting on Pinderhughes here, landing some big shots from side control. Check out the look on Bugz's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Bugz trying to control the action but Pinderhughes is working from the bottom. Bugz tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bugz has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Bugz in side control lands a decent elbow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Pinderhughes takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Bugz lands an elbow. Bugz scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Pinderhughes to see if he's OK. Pinderhughes is looking for a sweep. Pinderhughes taking punishment in the form of punches.

Can Bugz finish him? Pinderhughes is holding Bugz down, trying to stall. Bugz controlling the position from side mount. Bugz lands a strong strike to the head of Pinderhughes. That's dazed him! Bugz looking to finish here. Pinderhughes is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Bugz lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
