Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ben Pimpin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paulo Porradeiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pimpin's entrance music is I'm Destructive. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pimpin scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

It looks like Paulo Porradeiro has been cut.

Porradeiro gets a takedown into half guard.
Pimpin manages to get to full guard.
Pimpin throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Pimpin is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pimpin thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Porradeiro won't allow Pimpin to get back to his feet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Pimpin has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Porradeiro off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Pimpin is looking to get back to is feet but Porradeiro passes into side control.
Pimpin is breathing heavily.

Pimpin sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Porradeiro slips a nice elbow through Pimpin's hands, connecting with Pimpin's forehead.
Porradeiro lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Pimpin kicks off Porradeiro and gets to his feet.
Pimpin scores with a three punch combo!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pimpin throws a right and a left that Porradeiro avoids nicely.

Porradeiro closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Pimpin to the mat! Pimpin manages to get full guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Porradeiro's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Pimpin controls Porradeiro momentarily but Porradeiro frees himself.
Pimpin bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Porradeiro's guard.

Pimpin stands up and waves to Porradeiro to follow him.
Pimpin misses with a double jab.
Porradeiro stuffs the takedown attempt from Pimpin. Pimpin gets slowly back to his feet.
Pimpin scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Porradeiro has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Porradeiro is rocked!
Pimpin lands with a big left! Porradeiro is wobbled badly! Pimpin comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Porradeiro to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
