Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Jim Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gundar Thorsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kelly comes to the ring accompanied by Black Belt Jones Theme Song, you Jive Turkey!. Thorsen has chosen Thunder struck- ACDC as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jim Kelly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gundar Thorsen!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yuuki Gou and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelly feints and then cracks Thorsen's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Thorsen down.
Kelly misses with a body shot.
Kelly scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Kelly tries to land a front kick but Thorsen steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Kelly staying out of range there.
A slapping leg kick lands for Kelly.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kelly stuns Thorsen with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Thorsen looks gassed!
Kelly scoring well with a low kick there.
Jab, jab by Kelly - just one landing.
Kelly throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Kelly.
Jim Kelly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kelly is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Kelly is looking to slow Thorsen down with leg kicks.
Kelly throws the kick towards the body but Thorsen avoids it.

Kelly lands a head kick that bluckles Thorsen and drops him to the canvas. He's still conscious but it looks like it's going to take him the full 10 seconds to get back his senses! He's up on 9 and seems to be just about OK to continue.... the referee agrees and we're back to the action with Kelly no doubt looking to push for a finish!

Kelly connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Thorsen to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Kelly!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jim Kelly!
After the fight, Jim Kelly was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
