The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montoya tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Gracie tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Oh Montoya is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Gracie has hold of Montoya's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Montoya manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Montoya is desperately trying to improve his position but Gracie has a good base and remains in mount.

Gracie goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Montoya turns into him and now he's in Gracie's guard.

Gracie is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Montoya is hurt! He's hurt bad - Gracie fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Montoya from any more punishment! Congratulations to Gracie! Great finish!
