Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Khalien Gr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timo Kuikka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gr kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Walk. Khalien Gr has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gr throws a nice looking combination but Kuikka bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Gr moves into range and clinches up with Kuikka.
Kuikka takes an elbow to the forehead.
It looks like Timo Kuikka has been cut.
Gr lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Kuikka or not.
Gr unloads a knee to the mid-section. Kuikka lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Gr's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Gr lands a right hand that snaps the head of Kuikka backwards.

Gr wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kuikka has him pressed against the cage.

Kuikka throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Gr escapes and throws Kuikka's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Gr in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Kuikka is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Kuikka tries to get to full guard but Gr has control of the leg.
Kuikka keeping hold of Gr's head, controlling as best he can.
Kuikka is looking to get back to full guard here but Gr has managed to pass to side control instead.

Gr trying to control but Kuikka is having none of it.
Gr avoids the attempt from Kuikka to control.
Kuikka is trying desperately to improve position.
Gr looking to control but Kuikka is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Kuikka tries to reverse the position but Gr maintains control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kuikka is squirming around, avoiding Gr's attempts to control the action.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Gr tries to control but Kuikka wriggling away.

Gr thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Gr is tying to control. Kuikka wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Kuikka is looking for a sweep. Gr is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Gr is keen to just control but Kuikka is a slippery customer.
Kuikka looking for submissions off his back.
Gr thows a huge punch but Kuikka dodges it nicely.
Kuikka has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Gr is working away from the top position though.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Khalien Gr dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Timo Kuikka's cut.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
A slapping leg kick lands for Gr.
Khalien Gr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kuikka avoids a punch combination nicely.
Gr throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A nice inside leg kick there by Gr. That's going to slow Kuikka down.
A head kick by Gr - that's a beauty! Kuikka is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Gr can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Khalien Gr!
