The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McKwacz misses with a left hand

and Jones counters by moving into the clinch.

Jones 's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
McKwacz throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Mike Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McKwacz defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jones .
McKwacz thows a body shot but no joy.
Jones shoots for a takedown but McKwacz saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Jones moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Jones fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Sknerus McKwacz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Jones .
Jones shoots for a double leg takedown but McKwacz sprawls well. He's pushed Jones 's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
A left and a right from Jones both land. Nice combination.

Jones closes the distance and clinches.

McKwacz shoots in for a double leg but Jones sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Jones shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has McKwacz pinned against the cage. McKwacz gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Jones stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jones wants it to stay on the feet.
Jones misses with a takedown attempt - McKwacz sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Jones shoots in looking for a takedown but McKwacz manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jones 's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

McKwacz feints and as Jones raises his hands in defense, McKwacz changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

McKwacz drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says McKwacz as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Jones screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with McKwacz! Nice submission victory there!
