Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dingo Monster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mats Holm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dingo Monster has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dingo Monster!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mats Holm!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Eliza Hachem and Steve Erwin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holm throws a wild body kick that Monster sees coming a mile off.
Holm misses with a low kick.
Monster throws a quick inside leg kick.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Holm has eaten all the pies!

Monster scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Holm pushes Monster off looking to stand but Monster dives back in and keeps control.
Holm looks gassed!
Monster keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

Dingo Monster has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Holm tries a head kick but it misses.
A left lands for Monster.
Monster smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Holm misses with the body kick

and Monster counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Monster gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Holm drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Monster clinches with his opponent.
Monster using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Holm has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Holm avoids a wild elbow strike from Monster.

Monster breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Holm throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Monster looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Monster postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Holm to stand up.
Mats Holm is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Monster closes the distance and pushes Holm back into the cage.
With the fighters up against the cage, Holm throws an elbow but misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Monster breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Holm misses with a head kick.
Monster thows a left - swing and a miss!

Monster shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Holm's guard.

Holm is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Monster stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Holm is still on wobbly legs! Can Monster finish him?
Holm throws a sloppy head kick
and Monster counters with a nice body kick.
Holm avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Holm keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Monster.
A big left from Monster misses.
Holm staying out of range there.
Monster misses with a hook. Holm ducked under it nicely.
Monster throws a hook to the side of Holm's head but Holm sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Monster is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Monster looks to land a right hand but Holm moved out of range.
Holm uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Monster.
Monster throws a hook but Holm avoids it easily.
Nice defenses there by Holm.
Monster lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Holm out cold! Holm is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Dingo Monster!
Dingo Monster decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
