With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jalil Mahmoudi!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Tarja Halkonen and Anni Minnemäki.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jou uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mahmoudi.
Jou throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Mahmoudi counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Jou fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Mahmoudi looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Jou throws a body punch but Mahmoudi moves out of range.
Jou ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mahmoudi moves away.
Jou misses with a right hand
and Mahmoudi counters with a nice uppercut.
Jou throws a lazy head kick

and Mahmoudi counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mahmoudi wants to pass the guard but Jou is defending well.
Jou trying to control from the bottom.
Well, if Mahmoudi is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Mahmoudi's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Jou regains full guard. Nicely done.

Mahmoudi pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jou is keeping the position for now.
Jou looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Mahmoudi avoids the head kick by Jou.
Jou misses with a wild body shot.
Jou throws a head kick that half lands.

It looks like Jalil Mahmoudi has been cut.

Mahmoudi takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Mahmoudi tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Mahmoudi looks gassed!

Mahmoudi drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Jou looks to score with a jab to the body but Mahmoudi is just out of range.
Jou ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mahmoudi moves away.
Jou jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Funk Jou is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Mahmoudi steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jou.
Jou misses with a hook.
Jou Rushes Mahmoudi and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Mahmoudi is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Jou Piles on the pressure and Mahmoudi crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
