Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bruisevelt misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bruisevelt cracks Harris with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Harris darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Harris throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Harris throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bruisevelt's waist but Bruisevelt gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Harris off to one side.

Harris shoots for a double leg takedown but Bruisevelt sprawls well. He's pushed Harris's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Harris closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Bruisevelt's guard.

Bruisevelt leaves Harris with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Harris has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Bruisevelt shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Harris eats them both and turns towards Bruisevelt to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
