Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wahoo McDaniel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juanito Sandoval (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McDaniel kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is War Dance. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDaniel connects with a leg kick. Sandoval looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
McDaniel rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sandoval moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Sandoval misses the shot to the body.

Sandoval uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from McDaniel.
The fight stays on the outside here - McDaniel looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Sandoval throws a chopping leg kick but McDaniel manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
McDaniel misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

McDaniel throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Sandoval moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
McDaniel bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Sandoval's head.

That has opened up Juanito Sandoval's cut even more.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

McDaniel takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
McDaniel throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sandoval sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Sandoval throws out a leg kick but McDaniel moves out of range and Sandoval only half commits.

letting McDaniel counter with a right hand.

The cut above Juanito Sandoval's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
McDaniel moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Sandoval blocks a head kick by McDaniel.
Sandoval feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to McDaniel's calf.
Sandoval shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
McDaniel slips under a jab from Sandoval.
McDaniel lands the left hand.
Sandoval ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
A thudding body kick lands there by Sandoval!

Sandoval comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
McDaniel is breathing heavily.
McDaniel scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Sandoval lands a right hook to the body.
McDaniel scores with a hook to the body. Sandoval takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
No joy there for McDaniel, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
McDaniel stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Sandoval.
McDaniel jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Sandoval.
McDaniel uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sandoval.
McDaniel thows a body shot but no joy.

McDaniel does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Sandoval tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Sandoval moves out of range of the strikes.
Sandoval circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sandoval misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from McDaniel.
McDaniel scores with the left hand. Sandoval knows he should have avoided that one.

McDaniel tries a knee to the head but Sandoval blocks it.

Juanito Sandoval's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

McDaniel escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

McDaniel checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

McDaniel throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

McDaniel has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Still in the clinch, McDaniel scores with a nice short uppercut.
Sandoval lands a hook that snaps the head of McDaniel backwards.
Sandoval fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
McDaniel stalls.

McDaniel pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
McDaniel scores with a sloppy right hand. Sandoval should have avoided that one.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Juanito Sandoval's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Wahoo McDaniel opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
