Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Damian Newman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lonje Moco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Newman comes to the cage accompanied by Taki maly taki duzy. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Lonje Moco enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Newman turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Moco blocks a head kick by Newman.
Moco moves in looking to clinch but Newman pushes him off.
A clash of legs there as Moco blocks the low kick.
Newman looks to land a body kick but Moco moved away.
Newman misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Newman throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Moco's waist but Moco gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Newman off to one side.
Moco jabs Newman right on the nose. Newman blinks but takes it well.

Moco tightens his grip and picks Newman up, before dumping him to the ground. Newman manages to land in guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Newman has his foot on Moco's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Moco works his way back into a safe position though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Newman drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Moco manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Newman has Moco in his guard.

Moco is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Newman is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Moco to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Moco shrugs it off.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Moco throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Newman tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Moco is in Newman's guard.

Moco has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Newman has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
