Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Petar Lavine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dwayne Keller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Petar Lavine!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dwayne Keller!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, William Peck and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lavine has a takedown stuffed.
No luck for Lavine with that takedown attempt.

Lavine closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Lavine lands in his opponent's guard.
Lavine chips away with some ground and pound.
Lavine trying to control the position from guard on top but Keller is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Keller keeping busy on the bottom but Lavine has passed one foot through into half guard.
Lavine prevents Keller from improving his position.
Lavine knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Keller on the ground.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Keller is pressing down on Lavine's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Keller escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lavine gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Keller is on top in guard.

Keller is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Keller drops back, looking for a kneebar! Lavine looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Lavine looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Lavine!
Keller looks gassed!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lavine happy to just control the position for now.
Keller is trying to improve his position.
Keller is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lavine is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Keller is looking to reverse the position.
Keller is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Lavine off and has taken his back!
Lavine tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Keller is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Lavine has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Lavine!

Keller is looking for a triangle but Lavine pushes his legs off easily.

Keller is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Keller looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Keller looking for a guillotine here but Lavine defends easily.
Keller keeping moving, preventing Lavine from controlling successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Dwayne Keller will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Keller closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Lavine to the mat! Lavine manages to get full guard.
Keller pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lavine is keeping the position for now.
Keller stopping the sweep attempt from Lavine.
Keller trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Keller trying to move into half guard but instead Lavine has managed to sweep!

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Keller manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Lavine manages to get himself to full guard.

Keller drops back looking for a leg! Lavine is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lavine manages to kick Keller off! Keller jumps back into Lavine's guard.
Keller stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lavine swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Keller trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Lavine manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Keller is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Lavine is sitting in close to Keller's body. Keller has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Lavine is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Lavine is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Keller.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Dwayne Keller!
