Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clarke pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Clarke chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kuukkeli can pounce on him.
Clarke throws a body punch but Kuukkeli moves out of range.
Kuukkeli swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kuukkeli connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Clarke comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Clarke misses with a two punch combination.
Clarke looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kuukkeli is on top in guard.
Clarke wants to sweep but no luck.
This has been an exciting period of action!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kuukkeli is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Kuukkeli drops an elbow to the side of Clarke's head.

Kuukkeli uses his free foot to push down on Clarke's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Clarke.
Clarke wants to hold on but Kuukkeli pushes him away.

Clarke tries to lock up and control but Kuukkeli gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Kuukkeli lands with some strikes.
Kuukkeli wants to control the pace but Clarke is squirming around nicely.
Kuukkeli pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee warns Clarke that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Clarke is working to get back to half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Kuukkeli breaks from Clarke's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Clarke is squirming around, avoiding Kuukkeli's attempts to control the action.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kuukkeli unloads with some shots from mount but Clarke bucks and avoids them well.
Clarke is wriggling around trying to escape.
