Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jan Blachowicz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Piter KZ (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Piter KZ has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A low kick from KZ misses

and Blachowicz counters by moving into the clinch.

Blachowicz's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

A momentary lapse in concentration from KZ enables Blachowicz to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. KZ manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Blachowicz seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down KZ for as long as he can get away with.

KZ changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Blachowicz tries to avoid it but KZ manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Blachowicz to the ground. Blachowicz escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
