Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Matos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Grohl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grohl is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Avenged Sevenfold - Beast and the Harlot. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Grohl, as that shot connected.
Grohl throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Matos feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Grohl is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Matos stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Grohl swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Matos passes Grohl's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Matos tries to pass the half guard into mount. Grohl knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Matos is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Matos has control of Grohl's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Grohl regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Matos looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Matos wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
