Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Erik Boose!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boose takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Howard really is a fat lump.
Boose defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Howard.
Boose swinging wildly here.
Howard uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Boose.
Boose smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Boose lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Boose lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Howard will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Boose, as that shot connected.
Howard fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brock Howard. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Boose wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Howard is breathing heavily.
Boose scores with a punch to the head.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Howard. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Howard shoots in for a takedown but Boose shows good takedown defense.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Boose cracks Howard with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Boose has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Howard to stand back up!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Boose wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Boose lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Howard up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Boose from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Howard's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Erik Boose!
