PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andre Perkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Camel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Joe Camel was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Andre Perkins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joe Camel !
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Russell Pearce and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perkins tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Camel swivels and escapes.
Perkins takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Camel scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Camel passes to side control.
Perkins on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Perkins tries to get out of the position.

Camel wants to lay and pray for a moment but Perkins keeps working.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Camel ! Perkins is hurt baaadly! Camel is firing away with more strikes - Perkins is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
