The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stratton pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Buchet back to the cage. Stratton follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

It looks like Tre Buchet has been cut.
Stratton bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Buchet's head backwards.
Buchet motions for Stratton to come forward. Buchet throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Stratton jabs Buchet right on the nose. Buchet blinks but takes it well.
Buchet will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Buchet looks to land a combination but Stratton avoids it well.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Buchet connects with a nice short shot to Stratton's temple.

Buchet throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Stratton was covering up waiting for the punch and Buchet finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Buchet drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Stratton manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Buchet has Stratton in his guard.
