Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Fabio Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Milo Papi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is yes. Papi has chosen IZ ON as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 9 - 1, fighting out of London, Fabio Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Milo Papi!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Ackerman and Daniel Bishop.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice leg kick lands there from Papi.
Jones swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Jones lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Papi swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Papi pivots, looking for a leg kick but Jones is out of range and Papi settles back down.
Jones avoids the body shot from Papi.
Papi misses with a hook
letting Jones counter with a right hand.
Papi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Papi throws a jab when Jones was well out of range.
Jones cracks Papi with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Papi takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Jones throws a lazy uppercut
and Papi counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Papi fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Jones has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jones loads up on a big right hand but Papi slips the punch.
Jones is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Papi.
Milo Papi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Papi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Jones is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Papi tries to land a leg kick but Jones saw it coming and moves away.
Jones wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Papi misses with an attempted mid kick.
Jones has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Papi.
Jones checks the leg kick nicely there.
Jones really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Papi connects with a high kick.
Jones walks into a left hand.

Jones is rocked!
Papi lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Oh Jones is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jones with a hook.
Papi pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Papi goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Crunch! Papi slams his shin into Jones's torso.
Jones seems to have got his legs back now.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jones throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Papi sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Jones misses with the combination.
Jones is breathing heavily.
A head kick misses from Papi.
Papi lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Papi takes one on the chin but seems OK.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Papi lands a big head kick that sends Jones tumbling to the mat! Papi takes a step backwards and waves Jones back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Papi staying out of range there.
Jones loads up on a big right hand but Papi slips the punch.
Milo Papi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jones looks to land a combination but Papi avoids it well.
Papi keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Papi connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Jones throws a hook but Papi avoids it easily.
Good leg kick by Papi there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Jones tries to bum rush Papi with a series of wild strikes but Papi uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Papi throws a monster overhand right that drops Jones! Papi follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Milo Papi!
