The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Teixeira changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Schrute looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Teixeira throws an elbow but Schrute slips to the side and avoids it well.

Schrute is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Teixeira frees his head nicely. Oh but Schrute has switched to an armbar! Teixeira is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

A determined Dwight Schrute didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
