PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jambo Liddel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cesar Ryder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liddel comes to the cage accompanied by Nirvana - Smells like teen spirit.. Ryder has chosen Megadeth Public Enemy No.1 as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Liddel, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Liddel tries a head kick but it misses.

Ryder closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Ryder is trying to get an arm triangle but Liddel is defending well.

Liddel is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Liddel is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Ryder's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Ryder's back!

Ryder really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Liddel. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Liddel is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Ryder has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Liddel has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Ryder taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Liddel doesn't care though - he's delighted!
