Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Marcelo Lopez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Fisher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lopez comes to the cage accompanied by Ain't No Sunshine . We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Marcelo Lopez ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Sam Fisher! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Glass and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lopez scores a takedown into full mount! The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Lopez scoring with strikes but Fisher is staying in there. Lopez is landing with some decent strikes but Fisher is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Lopez lands a big shot there that rocks Fisher but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Lopez tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Lopez has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Lopez fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Lopez can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Fisher is looking to escape. A nice elbow there by Lopez . This has been an exciting period of action! Fisher in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Lopez controlling his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fisher is wriggling around trying to escape.
Lopez landing shots from mount. You get the feeling that Fisher really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Lopez landing strikes from the mount. Lopez looking for a guillotine from mount but Fisher is having none of it. Lopez is standing up, even though he is in mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fisher blocks the body kick.
Lopez scores a takedown into full mount! Fisher keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Fisher is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Fisher is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Lopez dominating with strikes here. Lopez tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Fisher is looking to get to half guard. Lopez with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Lopez scoring with strikes but Fisher is staying in there. Fisher really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lopez . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lopez trying to control but Fisher is having none of it. Lopez with shots to the head and body - Fisher looks very uncomfortable down there. Lopez is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Fisher has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Fisher is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lopez wants to control the pace but Fisher is squirming around nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marcelo Lopez dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Fisher drives through and clinches with Lopez against the cage.
Lopez tries to circle away but Fisher has him pinned against the cage. With the fighters up against the cage, Lopez throws an elbow but misses. Lopez breaks from the clinch.
Lopez doesn't manage to clinch there - Fisher circles away.
Fisher displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Lopez shoots in and gets a takedown into Fisher's guard. Lopez works a leg free and moves into half guard. Fisher is trying to get back to full guard. Lopez drops an elbow to the side of Fisher's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fisher pushes Lopez off and gets back to his feet. A punch combination from Lopez misses. A head kick misses from Fisher. Fisher closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lopez circles away. Marcelo Lopez is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Fisher is breathing heavily. Lopez throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Fisher slips a jab and a cross from Lopez .
Fisher shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Lopez counters with a head kick. That will keep Fisher thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Fisher with a lazy takedown attempt and Lopez counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Marcelo Lopez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sam Fisher. Lopez stands up over Fisher, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lopez slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Lopez pushing down on Fisher's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lopez stands up out of the half guard. Lopez gets a double leg takedown into Fisher's guard. Lopez scoring with punches to the head and body. Lopez decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Fisher, up you get! Fisher has his takedown stuffed and Lopez counters with a nice body kick. Lopez tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Fisher swivels and escapes. Lopez looks for a takedown but Fisher sprawls well. Danga de danga de dang - Fisher scores with a four punch combination!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lopez shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Fisher but Fisher pushes him off and we're back to square one. Fisher scores with a takedown into Lopez 's guard. Lopez is pulling down on Fisher's head. It's preventing any offense from Fisher, at least for the moment. Fisher trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Lopez lands a couple of shots from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lopez pulls Fisher in to control the position. Lopez is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Fisher is aware though and is defending well. Fisher working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Fisher looking to pass the guard. Fisher wants to stand but Lopez has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Lopez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Fisher preventing the sweep. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marcelo Lopez dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Fisher closes the distance and clinches up with Lopez , looking for a takedown. Fisher pushes Lopez against the cage but Lopez circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Lopez moves into the clinch. Lopez pulls guard effortlessly. Lopez is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Fisher is controlling him. Fisher tries to free his leg and advance position but Lopez is retaining full guard. Fisher is looking to stand up but Lopez won't let him. Lopez can't keep his opponent in guard - Fisher advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Fisher is keen to just control but Lopez is a slippery customer. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Lopez wants to control but Fisher is keeping busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lopez flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lopez is not content to let Fisher control the position. Fisher slows the pace down in half guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Sam Fisher was stalling too much, according to the referee. Lopez misses the jab. Lopez tries to keep at a distance but Fisher has taken the fight into the clinch. Fisher throws a knee to the head but misses.
A head punch on the inside from Fisher fails to land. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Fisher tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Lopez just stands there and leans against the cage. Fisher breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lopez is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Lopez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fisher tries to avoid it but Lopez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fisher to the ground. Fisher escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Fisher tries to clinch but Lopez is having none of it. Fisher fails with the takedown and Lopez counters with a takedown into side control. Marcelo Lopez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sam Fisher. Lopez trying to control the action but Fisher is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sloppy strikes there by Lopez . Fisher is trying to get back to half guard. Fisher tries to escape but Lopez is in control. Fisher is looking to regain half guard here but Lopez keeps moving and retains side control. Fisher seems a little lost for a moment, as Lopez dominates the positioning. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Fisher is looking to regain half guard here but Lopez keeps moving and retains side control.
And that's the end of the fight! Marcelo Lopez showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lopez , winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
