Dervius comes to the cage accompanied by Example - Last Ones Standing (Doctor P Remix). Michaels has chosen Fatboy Roberts - Made You Look/Kill Bill Remix as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Michaels scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Dervius is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Michaels is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Dervius doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Michaels.
Dervius tries to roll over but Michaels keeps him under control.
Michaels trying to control from half guard but Dervius is working away.

Michaels looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Dervius moves into full guard.

Dervius looking to hit a scissor sweep but Michaels is one step ahead there.

Michaels stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Dervius has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Michaels manages to get his head free but now Dervius has transitioned to an armbar! Michaels grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Dervius! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
