Terteryan has chosen Smashing Pumpkins-Bullet With Butterfly Wings as his entrance music. Sarkis Terteryan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pablo Fernandes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sarkis Terteryan!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Terteryan has Fernandes up against the cage in a clinch.
Fernandes is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Terteryan is defending well for now.
Fernandes looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Terteryan has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Fernandes is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Fernandes lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Fernandes with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Terteryan gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Fernandes is looking to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Terteryan looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Fernandes keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Terteryan is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Terteryan's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Sarkis Terteryan was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Fernandes misses with a wild combination.
Fernandes takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Oooh a lovely combination from Terteryan sends Fernandes down but not out. Terteryan dives into side control looking to finish.

Fernandes is rocked!

It looks like Pablo Fernandes has been cut.
Fernandes is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Terteryan advances nicely into full mount.
Oh Fernandes is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Terteryan tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
It looks like Terteryan might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Fernandes seems to have got his legs back now.

Terteryan working the ground and pound effectively.
Terteryan content just to control the position here.
Fernandes is bucking up trying to escape but Terteryan cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Terteryan takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Sarkis Terteryan hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Fernandes throws a series of punches but Terteryan avoids them all with ease.
A punch lands to the side of Fernandes 's head but he takes it in his stride.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
An inside leg kick lands from Terteryan.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Terteryan drops Fernandes with a big left hand and mounts him. Fernandes is in big trouble!
Whack. That's a big, big shot from Terteryan! Fernandes is out cold! This one is all over!
