The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva lands with a hook. Yre tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Yre tries to bum rush Silva with a series of wild strikes but Silva uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Silva with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Yre fails to land with a series of punches.
Yre misses with a leg kick.
Silva lands a head kick. Yre smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Silva darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Silva lands a high kick!

Yre is rocked!
Yre is breathing heavily.
Silva fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Yre.
Oh Yre is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Yre drops his hands momentarily and Silva needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Yre just on the top of the head. Yre drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Yre - he's done!

A very excited looking Anderson Silva rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
