The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcneill slips a jab and a cross from Lesnar.

Lesnar shoots in and bounces Mcneill off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Mcneill trying to keep a closed guard but Lesnar is proving a slippery customer.
Lesnar wants to pass the guard but Mcneill is keeping the position.

Mcneill is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Lesnar is controlling him.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Archie Mcneill hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Mcneill shoots in and drives through. Lesnar sprawls well.

Lesnar changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mcneill looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Mcneill takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lesnar is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Mcneill will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lesnar fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
A big strike lands for Lesnar! That's really hurt Mcneill and he's turned his back - Lesnar keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Lesnar jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
