Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Fajtah Thaijtah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Bob Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jim Bob Silva told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Thaijtah lands a big head kick that sends Silva tumbling to the mat! Thaijtah takes a step backwards and waves Silva back to his feet - he wants the finish!


Silva is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Silva moves into range and clinches up with Thaijtah.
Silva is still on wobbly legs! Can Thaijtah finish him?
Silva is trying to maintain a safe position but Thaijtah gets an underhook and turns Silva into the cage.
Silva seems to have recovered his senses.
Nice elbow from Thaijtah.
Thaijtah leaning his opponent against the cage.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Jim Bob Silva.
Silva takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Silva rushes Thaijtah and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Thaijtah landing knees to the head.
Thaijtah is pushing Silva up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Thaijtah blocks the elbow strike.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Silva looking to slow down the pace here.

Thaijtah pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Jim Bob Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thaijtah throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Thaijtah lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Silva forces Thaijtah back against the cage and clinches.

Thaijtah lands an elbow inside that Silva shrugs off.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Thaijtah manages to break the clinch.
Silva takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Thaijtah turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Thaijtah scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Thaijtah lands a leg kick that knocks Silva off balance momentarily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Thaijtah throws a quick head kick that knocks Silva silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Thaijtah is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
