Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Badr Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drake Fortune (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fortune throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hardy's waist but Hardy gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fortune off to one side.
Hardy instigates a clinch.
Hardy tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Fortune smiles and moves away.
Fortune throws a sloppy head kick
and Hardy cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Fortune moves into the clinch.
Hardy jumps guard but Fortune stands there with Hardy around his waist. Hardy gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Fortune looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Hardy gets control of Fortune's arms and successfully pulls guard. Hardy will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Fortune gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

and Hardy counters with a nice uppercut.
Fortune shoots in looking for a takedown but Hardy manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Fortune's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Fortune shoots in but Hardy avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Fortune shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Hardy napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Fortune works to advance to full mount. Hardy defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Hardy really wants to buck Fortune off and get back to his feet.

Fortune is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Hardy to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Hardy shrugs it off.

Hardy stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hardy wants it to stay on the feet.

Fortune tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hardy swivels and escapes.

Hardy will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Fortune shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Fortune was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Fortune is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Hardy has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Fortune cracks Hardy with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Hardy tries to buck Fortune off but he can't manage it.
Drake Fortune has got the better of the ground game so far.

Fortune lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Hardy defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Fortune.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Fortune tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Drake Fortune showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
