Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sergio Melo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gorge Junior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Junior has chosen Kid Sensation - The Way I Swing as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

With a record of 15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gorge Junior!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice leg kick lands there from Melo.
Junior throws the left hand but Melo avoids the punch easily.
Melo lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

It looks like Gorge Junior has been cut.
Melo fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Junior.
Junior moves out of range of the strikes.
Melo lands with a kick to the ribs.
Junior misses with a straight right.
Melo misses with a low kick.
Junior cracks Melo with an open hand slap.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Junior lands a jab-cross combination.

Junior fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Melo manages to avoid it.
A telegraphed right hand from Melo misses the target.
Melo throws a big shot that misses.
Melo fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Junior.
Junior is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Melo throws a leg kick but Junior checks it.
Melo pivots, looking for a leg kick but Junior is out of range and Melo settles back down.
Junior is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Melo.
Melo throws a nice inside leg kick.
Melo lands a high kick!
Melo tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Junior is able to avoid easily.
Melo feints and then cracks Junior's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Junior down.
Junior avoids the head kick by Melo.
Junior blocks a leg kick.
Melo throws the left hand but Junior avoids the punch easily.
Melo blocks a jab.
Melo cracks Junior with a right hand to the side of the head.
Junior throws a right and a left that Melo avoids nicely.

Melo slips a jab and a cross from Junior.
Melo lands with a right hand.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Melo scores with a jab to the body.
Junior closes the distance and lands a one-two.
A nice leg kick lands there from Melo.
Melo works Junior's body with a nice hook.
Junior looks gassed!
Junior's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Melo connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Junior scrambles back to his feet.
Melo throws a leg kick which misses Junior's front leg but catches the back leg as Junior tries to avoid it.
Junior misses with a few strikes there.
Melo chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Melo fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
A punch combination from Melo misses.
Junior misses the jab.
Junior lands with a nice combination. Melo backs away looking to recover.

Nice defenses there by Melo.
The fighters circle, before Melo throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Junior's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Melo lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

After the fight, Sergio Melo was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
