Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Van Decent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yokisho Mazanati (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yokisho Mazanati is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Yokisho Mazanati!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Colin Fotheringham and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mazanati pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mazanati shoots for a takedown but Decent saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Decent throws a nice looking combination but Mazanati bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Decent takes a swing at Mazanati's ribcage but misses.
Mazanati closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Mazanati passes the guard and advances to mount!
Decent is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

Decent doesn't manage to clinch there - Mazanati circles away.

Mazanati is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Decent is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Mazanati is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Decent knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Decent fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mazanati, pushing him back against the cage.
Decent is looking to control Mazanati's arms but Mazanati gets an underhook and turns him. Now Decent has his back to the cage.

Mazanati is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Decent is keeping busy.
Decent decides to pull guard.

Decent wants to stand and escape but Mazanati is having none of it.
Mazanati postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Decent seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Decent looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Mazanati's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Mazanati looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Mazanati cracks Decent with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Decent tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Mazanati pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Decent is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
