Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dmitry Nugzarov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lao Kong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Radbod Blank and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nugzarov uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kong.
Nugzarov punishes Kong's body with a nice straight punch.
Nugzarov throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kong tries to bum rush Nugzarov with a series of wild strikes but Nugzarov uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
The fighters circling - Kong throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Nugzarov lands a left and a right that sends Kong crashing to the canvas! Nugzarov dives into mount looking to finish!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nugzarov prevents Kong from getting the reversal.

Nugzarov has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Kong is in trouble now - Nugzarov has advanced to mount!
Kong is still in real trouble! Can Nugzarov finish him?
Nugzarov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kong on the ground.
Kong tries to reverse the position but Nugzarov maintains control.
Kong is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Nugzarov tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Kong seems to have recovered his senses.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Dmitry Nugzarov just wasn't active enough.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kong's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Nugzarov's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nugzarov throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
A punch lands to the side of Kong 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Kong avoids the head kick by Nugzarov.
Nugzarov fails in his attempt to clinch.
Nugzarov misses with a body shot.
Kong shoots in looking for a takedown but Nugzarov manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kong's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Nugzarov instigates a clinch.
Nugzarov stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Kong tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Nugzarov smiles and moves away.
Kong avoids the head kick by Nugzarov.
Nugzarov connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Kong to the floor! Nugzarov dives in looking for the finish!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nugzarov wants to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kong is breathing heavily.
Kong tries to get to full guard but Nugzarov has control of the leg.

Kong looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Nugzarov is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Kong can do to turn this around?
Nugzarov seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Nugzarov wants to get back to his feet.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Nugzarov perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

We're going to have a standup here because Dmitry Nugzarov wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Kong throws an overhand right that lands on Nugzarov's shoulder, as Nugzarov tries to avoid the shot.
Nugzarov throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kong stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Dmitry Nugzarov is winning the standup battle so far.
Nugzarov fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Kong on the side of the head.
Nugzarov lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Kong sprawling to the canvas. Nugzarov follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Kong hang on?

Nugzarov postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Kong to stand up.
Nugzarov drops Kong with a huge uppercut! Kong drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Nugzarov is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
